When installing your Coastal polycarbonate roofing, Clear Roofing Solutions recommends using Multipurpose, Rapid Shot Fasteners, or other fasteners designed for this purpose. These fasteners create a pre-drilled oversized hole, which allows your sheets to expand and contract properly.
Make sure your roof pitch is at least 5º, which corresponds to an 88mm rise per linear meter. This pitch is essential for ensuring proper water runoff.
For roofing, purlin spacings. For curved structures, the maximum purlin spacing should be 750mm with a minimum radius of 6000mm for the Corrugate profile. For walls, nogging spacings should not exceed 1200mm. To minimize noise from expansion and contraction, apply Noise Stop Tape to all battens, purlins, or noggings.
